THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

 

Making a wrong decision or adopting bad practice when recruiting personnel can be costly. EER Associates' recruitment process is designed to achieve the highest possible standards in the most efficient manner. Our process consists of:

 

Pre-Recruitment

 

  • Plan a tailored recruitment programme
  • Understand the clients requirements, values, and expectations
  • Agree a detailed candidate specification and job description
  • Agree on essential/preferred criteria
  • Agree contract terms
  • Film/photograph the workplace, job, colleagues, environment
  • Ensure suitable housing/accommodation available in local area

 

 

 

Recruitment

 

  • Search existing database for suitable match
  • Create and place advertisements in East European media
  • Organise interview/open days in Poland/EU
  • Telephone screening programme initiated from the advert response

 

Face to face Interview

 

All our candidates are interviewed by one of our trained consultants in Poland.
A full selection day is instigated which includes registration, interview, skill testing and briefings on the vacancies available and the UK companies hiring. All paperwork is checked and copied.

 

The day will consist of the following timetable:

 

  • Introduction to EER Associates and our team of consultants/account managers
  • Selection day ‘Agenda’
  • Client detail to include film/presentation photographs of employers site and people at work,
  • Opportunity job role and vacancy duration
  • Aptitude and skills testing
  • Selection interview
  • Paperwork checks
  • Medical checks (If required)

 

Paperwork Required

 

We require the following paperwork from all candidates; this must be brought to the selection/interview day.

 

  • Passport/ID card
  • Proof of home address
  • Driving license/FLT license / FLT certificate
  • 2 x passport style photographs
  • Police check
  • Doctor/medical certificate
  • References – if available

 

 

 

Selection

 

Following the selection day – all candidates’ results form skill/aptitude tests are marked, reference-vetting procedures are undertaken and a shortlist of candidates is presented.

 

  • Second interview are then conducted it is at this stage we encourage the potential employer to get involved. If you would like to meet our selected candidates personally you are very welcome to come to our centre of operations in Poland to jointly conduct the final interviews.

 

 

 

Post Recruitment

 

Our settling in service and Worker Welfare Programme ensures your new employees fit into their new environment ASAP.

 

We will provide the employer with a complete verified and translated set of documents on each selected candidate.

 

We can help the employer translate into Polish contracts, health and safety document, risk assessment material and company policies/procedures

 

Our post recruitment worker welfare programme includes:

 

  • Presentation and fact file on the new employer
  • Travel arrangements to the UK organised
  • Meet and greet on arrival into the UK
  • Arrangement of accommodation within reasonable distance of the new workplace.
  • Ongoing welfare support – from setting up bank accounts and taking care of the first week’s groceries to helping to find a doctor and dentist.
  • Local orientation guide providing a map of local areas including shops, bank, doctors surgery, churches etc.
  • Arrangement of first day induction at new employers premises.
  • Home Office Registration assistance and arrangement of National Insurance Number
  • Ongoing welfare and support service
